সনাতন ধর্ম সকল সকল ধর্মকে শ্রদ্ধা করে ও ধর্মীয় কাজে সহায়তা করে। প্রতিটি ধর্মের পবিত্র স্থান থাকা প্রয়োজন। কিন্তু পবিত্র স্থান তৈরি করতে গিয়ে যেনো কোন ধরনের সম্প্রীতি নষ্ট না হয় সেদিকে আমাদের খেয়াল রাখা জরুরি। কারণ চন্দ্রনাথ পাহাড়/সীতাকুন্ড সনাতন ধর্মালম্বীদের পবিত্র তীর্থস্থান। এটি কোন পর্যটন কেন্দ্র নয়। এটা কোন বিনোদনের জায়গা নয়। এটা সনাতনীদের দেবত্তর সম্পত্তি। তাই সরকার সব সময় নিজের মতো করে চিন্তা করতে পারে না। চন্দ্রনাথ পাহাড়ের আশপাশে কোন পবিত্র স্থান হলে সনাতনী দায়িত্বশীল ব্যক্তিদের সাথে আলোচনা করে করা উচিত বলে আমরা মনে করি।

আমরা বিভিন্ন সময় দেখেছি বিভিন্ন ধর্মাবলম্বীরা বিভিন্ন ধর্মীয় স্লোগান দিয়ে ও গরুর মাংস নিয়ে পবিত্র তীর্থস্থানের পবিত্রতা নষ্ট করছে। কিন্তু সরকারী ভাবে ও প্রশাসনিক ভাবে তেমন কোন পদক্ষেপ নিতে দেখা যায়নি। আমরা চাইনা নতুন করে আবার কোন ঝামেলা তৈরি হোক। তাই এই বিষয়ে আইন প্রশাসন ও দায়িত্বশীল ব্যক্তিদের সচেতন থাকার অনুরোধ রইলো।

Sanatan Dharma respects all faiths and supports the religious activities of every community. Every religion has the right to maintain and preserve its sacred places of worship. However, while establishing or developing religious sites, it is important to ensure that communal harmony and mutual respect are not affected.

Chandranath Hill in Sitakunda is a sacred pilgrimage site for followers of Sanatan Dharma. It is not merely a tourist destination or a place of entertainment. It is a holy site deeply connected to the religious sentiments and spiritual heritage of millions of devotees and is regarded as a sacred endowment property of the Hindu community.

For this reason, decisions concerning the surrounding area should not be made unilaterally. We believe that any initiative involving religious infrastructure in the vicinity of Chandranath Hill should be undertaken only after meaningful consultation with responsible representatives of the Sanatan community and other relevant stakeholders.

Over the years, there have been instances where the sanctity of this sacred pilgrimage site has been disturbed by actions and activities associated with various religious groups. Unfortunately, effective administrative or legal measures have not always been visible in addressing such concerns. We do not wish to see new tensions or controversies arise in the future.

Therefore, we respectfully call upon the government, law enforcement agencies, administrative authorities, and all responsible individuals to remain vigilant and ensure that the religious significance, dignity, and peaceful environment of this sacred pilgrimage site are preserved.

Let harmony, mutual respect, and reli us coexistence prevail.
